Dos .bat: Create XML From Directory by stace

I have a .bat file I use to create XML from a list of files. I would like this .bat file to do 2 thing that I cannot figure out: 1- add an auto-incremented NUMBER for the files, so that the avatarid node has a number… (Budget: $30-250, Jobs: JSP)
